Privacy policy
How we handle website visits and messages sent via WhatsApp.
Updated: 3 November 2026This policy explains how personal data is handled when you visit ARBOR MD or inquire about tree removal, pruning and care services in Moldova. The website has no inquiry form: communication takes place through WhatsApp.
1. Who controls your personal data
Data controller: Evghenii Rojenco, an individual using the name ARBOR MD for the website and service-related communication. This policy does not present ARBOR MD as a separate registered legal entity.
2. What information we process and where it comes from
- When you visit the website: hosting provider Netlify may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, and the date and time of requests to serve and secure the website.
- When you contact us on WhatsApp: you choose to send your name (if provided), phone number or account identifier, location, details of the tree and requested work, photographs and any other information in your message. The website does not upload these messages or photos through Netlify Forms.
- If you consent to Meta Pixel in the future: once the pixel ID is configured, page views (
PageView), WhatsApp button clicks (Contact), technical identifiers and advertising cookies may be processed. The pixel is not yet enabled in the current published ARBOR MD website version.
Please avoid sending identity documents, passport details or sensitive personal information unless necessary. Photos of your property may unintentionally contain other people or information.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- Replying to inquiries, assessing a job and agreeing on terms: taking steps at your request before an agreement and/or performing agreed services (Article 6(1)(b) of Moldova Law No. 195/2024).
- Keeping relevant correspondence in case of claims and securing the website: legitimate interests in protecting rights and preventing abuse (Article 6(1)(f), where applicable and not overridden by your rights).
- Meeting legal requirements: compliance with applicable legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c), where applicable).
- Advertising measurement through Meta Pixel: your prior, freely given consent (Article 6(1)(a)); refusing does not restrict access to the website.
4. WhatsApp, hosting and recipients
Contact buttons open WhatsApp at wa.me/37360579908. Your message is sent only if you confirm it in WhatsApp. WhatsApp/Meta may process data according to their policies. Netlify hosts the website. If you consent and Meta Pixel is enabled later, Meta group companies may receive website event data.
Provider policies: Netlify, WhatsApp, Meta.
5. Processing outside Moldova
Netlify, WhatsApp and Meta are international services. Depending on their infrastructure, data may be processed outside Moldova. Any new data transfers and providers must be assessed for the legal grounds and safeguards required by applicable law. Contact the controller using the email above if you want information about a particular transfer.
6. Cookies, localStorage and Meta Pixel
The website stores your optional marketing-consent choice in your browser's localStorage (key arbormd_marketing_consent_v1) to remember your preference. You can change it using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the main website.
Meta Pixel is currently inactive because its ID has not been set. Once enabled, it is intended to load only after you consent. If you decline, the optional advertising script does not load. Consent covers advertising measurement and attribution, not merely anonymous site statistics. A WhatsApp button click does not establish that a message was sent or a job booked.
After withdrawing consent, the page reloads to stop further use of the script in that tab. You may need to use browser settings to remove cookies already created. Withdrawing consent cannot technically undo data already transmitted.
7. How long data is kept
Messages that do not result in a job are intended to be deleted within six months of the last contact unless a longer period is justified by law. Job-related records or disputes are kept as long as necessary for obligations and protection of legal rights. External providers determine retention for their own technical logs and other data. Your browser stores the cookie preference until you change it or clear site data.
8. Your rights
Subject to Moldova Law No. 195/2024, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to processing, exercise data portability where applicable, or withdraw consent when it is the legal ground. You may lodge a complaint with the National Centre for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova.
Write to arbormd.servicee@gmail.com to exercise these rights. We respond within applicable legal time limits; proportionate identity verification may be needed depending on your request.
9. Optional disclosure and automated decisions
You may browse this site without providing your name or phone number. To receive a reply and an estimate, we need at least a way to contact you and details of the job. The website does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects, and does not automatically assess customers’ creditworthiness.
10. Security and updates
Access to service-related conversations should be limited to the controller and people directly involved in answering inquiries. This policy will be updated when services, purposes or data handling practices change, and the update date will be shown. Publishing this policy does not remove the obligation to protect data in practice.
